Where's My Pie!

Saturday between games I made dinner for Sunday after the Giants Little League Day!
Homemade Chicken Pot Pie (thanks Ellen Krieger!)
Find the Recipe Here!
** This recipe is easily made vegan by substituting the chicken, milk and butter for soy products!**

Enjoy! We did!

Giants Little League Day

Sunday was Little League Day at the SF Giants Stadium! We had lots of fun and were joined by Nana, Poppie, and our nephew Steven!

It was nice to spend time with Steven before he leaves for the Marines on the 10th (don't feel too bad for him though - he is stationed in San Diego!)

They boys go to walk the park with Poppie!
Ryan got to see one of his all time favorite players - Will Clark!
It was great to get advice from players old and new...
1. Relax: don't over try let it happen
2. The pitcher supplies the power - all you have to do is make contact with the ball
3. Never give up! If you missed this game there will be one to improve on tomorrow.
4. Don't try to be too fancy - remember the fundamentals
5. Don't jump off the roof onto a mattress
6. The best way to strengthen your arm for pitching or throwing from out field is to throw long balls. Keep challenging yourself to throw farther and farther each time.
So much great advice!

And he's out!
